The Museum of Chinese Australian History 

This term, the Year 5 students have been learning how Australia has changed over time from the perspective of different social groups, such as Indigenous Australians, European immigrants, and Asian Immigrants. 

As part of their investigation, we visited the Museum of Chinese Australian History to discover how Chinese and Asian immigrants have influenced Australian culture. Highlights included a tour of Chinatown, an exploration of the museum, and ink painting. 

To continue their learning, students will be heading to the Immigration Museum this week.
