General FAQ's
Do you offer make up lessons?
We don't offer make up lessons, but as a member of Swim ARCademy you can come to the pool at any time during the week outside your lesson to practise your skills.
Can I take a break from my Swim ARCademy membership?
Yes. We'll hold your place for $6.00 a week, while you take a break. You can break for a maximum of six weeks per calendar year via your member portal. See how to Take a Break here.
Can we use the warm water pool before or after my swimming lesson?
No, we would like to remind all parents and guardians that the Warm Water Pool is designated as an adults only area (ages 16 and over) outside of your scheduled Parent and Child class times. To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly request that parents and guardians refrain from entering the Warm Water Pool until the start of your booked lesson time.
This policy is in place to maintain a safe and organised environment for everyone using the facilities. Your scheduled class time grants you access to this area.
The leisure and the learn to swim pools are heated for your babies comfort to swim outside your lessons.
Do I need to be assessed before I enrol?
No. Use our Class Matching Tool to find a class, then view available classes and enrol online.
Do I have to re-enrol each term?
You don't need to re-enrol for Swim ARCademy, your membership continues ongoing throughout the year.
How do I change class times or levels?
If you've received a progression email from us or your teacher notifies you that you have progressed, you can either:
- Fill in our change of class form and we'll reach out to you about current availability.
- Or come and see us at the Aqua Hub so we can book you in for an assessment.
I have two children one has their lesson in the warm water pool and another child is in the Learn to Swim pool can they have lessons at the same time?
Siblings swimming in the Learn to Swim pool and 25m pool can be booked into lessons at the same time, as long as the guardian can maintain visual contact between both pools.
This does NOT apply to parents and babies; they cannot have another child in the Learn to Swim or 25m whist in the warm water pool unless another guardian is present.
How do I cancel my Swim ARCademy membership?
You can cancel your Swim ARCademy enrolment online. Your cancellation must be lodged by close of business on the Tuesday prior to the next direct debit date to ensure payment is not taken out.
