Snapshot of Learning in Grade 6

On Tuesday the 15th of March, our wonderful Grade 6 students set off for camp to

Gippsland Lakes. The students spent four fun-filled days at Camp Coolamatong and will no doubt be one of their highlights of the year.

The Grade 6 students participated in a range of new and exciting activities such as paddle boarding, tubing, sailing and raft building. The students were respectful and enthralled by Aunty Kass during their traditional Indigenous walk, where they were taken back in time to experience how the traditional owners of the land sustainably lived off the land.

Our caring and dedicated Grade 6 teachers made sure that students were safe and enjoyed their time at Camp Coolamatong. Our wonderful Grade 6 teachers this year are Sharni Spriggs (Grade 6 Level Leader), Sarah Barbanti (Grade 6 Level Leader), Carly Barca and Olivia Frisch.
