Year 8 Product Design Technology Woodwork

Our wonderful Year 8 Product Design Technology Woodwork students have been working hard this term! They have been developing their woodworking skills in the first unit of work by learning about measurement, marking, tool recognition and use, occupational health and safety, finishing techniques and working drawing comprehension through making their Tic Tac Toe board. 

This first unit of work focuses on Woodworking fundamentals and is a  pre-cursor to developing skills needed for the design process by personalising their game with a designed wood burnt image.
