Our 2022 coaching team is the most diverse and skilled one that we ever have had the privilege of working with at KDC.

Adam Hrehoresin - Goalkeeper coach

Returning for a third successive year is the current St. Albans Saints senior goalkeeper coach, former Australian Institute of Sport graduate, and current first-choice keeper at Albion Rovers in State League 2 men's football.

Toan Le - Goalkeeper coach.

Joining Adam as our junior development keeper coach is former student Toan Le, who has been busy planting the fundamental seeds in our youngest and least experienced keepers at training. Toan spent six years in our program as a student and is now studying cybersecurity whilst developing himself as a coach.

Sarah Lorca - Girls development coach

Current Bachelor of Education student, current Calder United NPLW player, and former KDC Soccer School graduate, Sarah is a driven young woman that wants to help bring a new generation of talented young women to the highest level possible. Sarah has entered her third year of coaching with us and is a favourite of our girls for her passionate delivery of sessions and information to our girls.

Sebastian Randello - Boys development coach

Another current Bachelor of Education student and former KDC student, Seb is into his second full year of coaching with us and is a huge asset to our program. Always learning and challenging himself and our boys, Seb continues to provide stability and creativity to our Foundation Development Phase and Intermediate Development Phase boys.

Matthew Kiriakopoulos - Boys and Girls Development Coach.

Our newest member is currently completing his AFC B Licence and is the current under 17 head coach at Calder United in the NPLW. Matt has come to use with extensive knowledge and experience in both female football and small group private coaching, where he has refined his skills and is able to break down technical elements to our students.

Phillip Lesar - Technical Development Coach

Our fourth former student and current NPL 1 Mens player for St. Albans Saints, Phillip Lesar, has come on board on a voluntary basis to develop technical elements and work with small groups of students, particularly in the Foundation Development Phase. Energetic, driven and keen to build up future players, Phillip is a terrific role model for all of our students.

George Katiforis - Program Coordinator and Head Coach

32 years into his teaching career at KDC, and current Albion Rovers State League 2 NW senior men's coach, "Kata" brings a wealth of experience and passion for taking young players from the very beginning through to the end of their time in our program and beyond. A current AFC C-Licenced coach that has worked in academy, NPL junior football and senior football, George's determination to improve himself is a testament to his love of education and love of the game.

Josip Loncaric - Program Coordinator and Head Coach

Into his 15th year of teaching at KDC on top of his six years as a student of the school, "Loncha" has taken his extensive playing experience in Victorian football to his true passion, which is youth development. 

A current AFC B Licence holder with Coerver coaching and TOVO Institute qualifications, Josip is the current head coach of the Calder United u19 NPLW side tasked with developing players for the club and for the 2023 A League Womens season for Western United FC.
