Year 5 Camp

The Year 5 Camp this year will be held at Bayplay Iluka Retreat in Shoreham next week, Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 April. Bayplay Camp Iluka Retreat is a 36-acre property consisting of two group lodge accommodation facilities on the Mornington Peninsula. 

The aim of this camp is to provide shared year level experiences and team building in an extended classroom learning areas of Science (Space) and Humanities (Aboriginal Cultures). Students will focus on promoting self esteem, resourcefulness, independence, leadership, judgement, cooperation and tolerance while developing their problem solving skills. 

Some of the activities included are initiative games, tree climbing, bush cooking, stand-up paddle boarding and raft building.
