Snowy River School
Snowy River School for Student Leadership
Last year an exciting opportunity was presented to Wantirna College. Interested Year 8 students were offered the opportunity to apply to attend the Snowy River School of Student Leadership in 2016. After the application process was completed, which involved a written application and interview, 6 students from our College were accepted to attend the Campus.

These students have been working hard at fundraising for their term 2 stay at the campus in Snowy River. They have worked together in starting to design a Community Leadership Project which they will unveil and start working on within the Wantirna College Community in term 3.
While at the school students will also spend lots of time acquainting themselves with nature through mountain hikes and expeditions, kayaking, mountain biking and even learning to surf.
We wish the students a safe and successful term two at the school. We also look forward to their return in term 3 and their exciting unveiling of the Community Learning Project.
