greased lightning!

What started out in February as a fun  idea, is now very close to showtime!

From page to stage, the whole-school production is a mammoth undertaking.  From auditions to rehearsals, set design to showtime - every step of the way has its own challenges and highlights.

As show dates near and rehearsals 'ramp up',  the band members, backstage team and on-stage performers are working very hard to hone every aspect of this year's show, Grease, for delivery to an eager audience.

Tickets for the performances are now on sale.  You can make sure of the best seats by booking early - contact The Clocktower on 9243 9191 or go purchase online.

So why do BSC students love taking part in the whole-school production?

Every year,  the number of students involved in the production increases.

Starting with the staging of Fame in 2013,  the show company boasted just 40 students.  This year,  102 students are involved in all facets of production and have a fabulous time being involved.  Even though it requires a big commitment of time and energy and  often means  stepping out of their  'comfort zone' and trying something completely new and unfamiliar.

Grease is the Word - and word has gotten around that the production company is a great place to be - learning new skills, making new friends and having loads of fun. Now, thanks to JAMES HEYWOOD (2017 Media Captain), you can watch the video below to hear from members of the company of Grease!
