Academic Assistance

This is offered to all Senior Campus students Monday to Thursday. It starts at 3.45 and ends at 5.45. The program offers a space to complete homework, catch up with a teacher (by arrangement) or to be able to sit and read until Mum or Dad can collect.  Students sign a book when they arrive and depart. They are required to have a parental note if departure is before 5.30.

This is not for students who are in trouble for not doing homework (although some teachers might ask them to attend for that reason). It is designed to aid students who may need it. Monday nights tend to have at least one Mathematics teacher rostered. Other nights there is one teacher rostered.

Students who are in trouble for not doing homework will be required to attend a Friday Focus session on Friday at lunchtime.
