2018 Art Show

Wow, it’s already term 4 and we have just had the 2018 Art show and what a fantastic turn out. I would like to thank all those that turned out for the opening night with their families and friends, and also all of our special guests. We were lucky to also have some of our talented past students attend the occasion, which is always wonderful to see.

This year the art show moved to the new APAC building where we placed almost 500 artworks on display, the space looked absolutely amazing, and on the opening night we had a large crowd gathered admiring the students artworks. It’s always an exciting time for the Art Department, where we get to celebrate the success of all our talented students and we are a very proud team!

I would like to thank all the team for their hard work over the year in teaching all their students and helping them to produce such a large range of amazing artworks. I would also like to thank our sponsors for donating the award prizes that were given out on the night, Northcote Pottery Supplies, Zart Art, Cavalier Art Supplies, Officeworks, OfficeMax and Kwik Kopy. Also a special thank you to Joanne Harrison from the Loopy Cat, and the Diamond Valley Art Society for their award donations, we thank them for their continued support towards the College.

Overall it was a fantastic evening and we had a great week celebrating Greensborough College’s Art students.
