Athletic Development Program

ADP crew farewell our Year 12 members!

Both Bailey Grioli and Jodie Harris have been revered ADP members through out all of 2018.

The younger student athletes definitely looked up to their commitment, incredible athleticism and professional conduct. All coaching staff were continually impressed by their endeavours, appreciative of their continual contribution to the quality of the program and will sincerely miss working with both of these outstanding young people.

Bailey was one of Macleod U19’s Football Club’s most valuable players this past season. Bailey also dominated in athletics this year, competing in the State Finals and coming 5th overall in the 100m sprint. He is flat out FAST!

Jodie has made valuable contributions here at school as well as in her local community.  She has reveled in her role as Vice Captain this year, juggled her conscientious study habits, excelling academically, and also continues to volunteer at her local CFA.  Did you know Jodie recorded a vertical jump of 62cm? This ranks her up with the highest performing athletes in the AFLW. Having done a terrific job keeping her body fit & strong, Jodie plans to go back to representative State League netball in 2019.

We hope that Bailey & Jodie’s involvement in the 2018 ADP has helped keep them injury free, has upgraded their athletic development and assisted them to develop life long skills that will benefit them in their sporting pursuits as well as in every aspect of their lives.

All the best Bailey & Jodie and thank-you for being so AWESOME!
