Boys Netball - Eureka Division

On Wednesday 5th May YR 8 boys competed in the Eureka division Netball competition at Llanberris Netball centre. Due to popular demand Woodmans Hill entered two teams in the Year 8 division. This proved to be a master stroke with one of our teams winning ALL games, and the other only losing to the undefeated Woodmans team. It was great to see all boys using the skills practiced at school and coming together as teams to perform incredibly well.

Going undefeated also means that we move through to the GWR region and Netball Vic Schools Cup competition which are scheduled for Term 3.

Well done boys!

On Wednesday 5th May YR 9&10 boys competed in the Eureka division Netball competition at Llanberris Netball centre. The boys won their first game and looked to build on that, but the competition was stiff and ensured that we did not progress to the GWR finals.

It was great to see all boys working together and being inclusive and demonstrating sportsmanship at all times. Standout players were Toby Romeo in defense and Emmanuel Butler in goals and midcourt.

Well done to all on being a credit to our College.

Cheers,
