COVID RESTRICTIONS ACROSS DEPARTMENT SCHOOLS

While we are so fortunate in Victoria to have enjoyed what almost feels like a return to pre-COVID normal, we still do have to abide by restrictions and follow COVID-safe practices. The main features of these practices include:

• Staying home when unwell
• Practising good hygiene and pursuing physical distancing where possible
• Recommended use of face masks by adults where physical distancing is not possible
• Ensuring a record of visitors is kept for anyone who attends on-site for more than 15 minutes; this record must include names, contact details, and areas visited
• Ensuring that density limits are maintained if any external guests attend a school event onsite.

We are hopeful that the coming months will bring more easing of restrictions and will inform the school community when the rules change.

FREE CRIME PREVENTION KITS

The local police station have contacted the school and are keen to distribute Crime Prevention Kits to any interested families. If you are interested please contact the school via email ripponlea.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
