House Cross Country/Fun Run

What a great day we finally got for our cross country/fun run! There was a lot of excitement this year after we missed these events last year because of Covid. I loved that most of the students were also proudly wearing their school colours. I was blown away by the efforts of all students in the cross country and am feeling very excited about our prospects for District. Students who have qualified for District cross Country will be notified next week. District Cross Country is being held in May, so there is quite a bit of time to train. We had some pretty amazing results.

After going through the fun run results from what I saw and heard, the Prep-2’s were just as amazing! A lot of these students ran further than the 2 and 3 kilometres the grade 3-6 students ran! Well done.

The winning house has not been worked out yet but the students will be told next Monday at assembly.

Thank you so much to all the parent helpers who offered their time on the day. Without your help the students cannot participate in these events, so THANK YOU

Also a thank you to the house captains who came to school early to help set up both events and then stay behind to pack up. Thank you to Remi, George and Gemma.

Interschool Sport

Next Thursday we have a HOME game against Milgate primary. Rounders and bat tennis at school and softball at Warrandyte Reserve. The matches are getting important now as softball and open rounders are sitting in second place on the ladder with just 2 games to go.

Remember Warrandyte sport top, hat and drink bottle.

Lost Property

With our run of warm weather, lost property is overflowing with uniforms. Please come and check it if you have lost anything.
