The Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge is underway

The 2021 Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge has only just begun at EDSC, and already the 610 students registered have read and reviewed 112 books. Well done to all students on a fantastic early effort.

This year, all Year 7 and 8 students have been automatically registered for the Challenge, while Year 9 and 10 students are encouraged to sign up online now.

Students who read 15 books by September 17 will receive a certificate signed by the Premier. Year 7 and 8 students are vying for a pizza party for the home groups who read the most books in total. Year 8 to 10 students who qualify for the Premier’s certificate will go into the draw for a $40 Westfield voucher.

Thank you to all teachers who are helping to promote the Reading Challenge this year.

The EDSC Library team hopes everyone in the school community enjoys their Easter break.

Students can access eBooks, audiobooks, and movies from our Library website during the school holidays.
