The Greyt Big bookswap
Fundraiser to save ex-racing greyhounds
When: Sunday 8 November, 1–5 pm
Where: Fairfield RSL 7 Railway Place, Fairfield
(parking at rear off Gillies St and at Fairfield Station across the road)
How it works: Easy! Bring along some good quality books you no longer want, pay the entry fee ($15 adults, kids free) and take as many books as you want. We have a huge selection of books available, so this is a great opportunity to try some new authors, perhaps a new genre and stock up on reading for months to come. Lots of kids books as well.
The Greyt Big Bookswap is a fundraiser to support the work of the Greyhound Safety Net (GSN), a volunteer organisation that rehabilitates and re-homes ex-racing greyhounds.
