PRIMARY SCHOOL

• Teams for Years 2, 3 & 4 have been released.
• Year 6 teams will be released this weekend.

Games dates

Years 2, 3 & 4 will be commencing on Friday 5 May.

Years 5 & 6 will be commencing on Saturday 6 May.

Game times will be confirmed by PNA closer to the start of the season.

There are no games on:

• 2 & 3 June – Labour Day Long Weekend
• 30 June to 16 July – Winter school holidays

Jewellery

Jewellery is not permitted at netball games with the exception of a medical alert bracelet. 

Jewellery is not allowed to be taped. Players wearing jewellery will be asked to leave the court and will not be allowed back on court until the jewellery is removed.

Uniforms

Netball players are required to wear the John XXIII College Netball Club uniform.

• Year 4 wear the College Netball dress
• Years 2 & 3 wear the College sports uniform
• Primary school boys wear the College sports uniform

Please note:

• Bloomers / netball knickers are compulsory and must be either plain navy/dark blue or the blue and yellow club bloomers.
• Netball winter rain jackets are waterproof and fleece lined. The pockets are also waterproof.

All John XXIII College netball uniforms are available from the Uniform Shop including netball dresses.  Please place your order in as soon as possible as delivery can take up to 8 weeks.

PNA Holiday Clinics

PNA Holiday Clinics will be run this April for players from Years 1 to Year 6

SECONDARY SCHOOL

Training

If your child is sick or in isolation please let your coach or the Club know as soon as possible. Coaches put a lot of effort into training and devise drills for the number of players they have. It is disruptive when there are a lot of last minute absences. Although we do understand that in these covid times that it does happen.

If a player is absent from training and we have not been advised we will be in touch.

Mobile phones are not permitted at training. Players will be asked to return their phones to their school bags. If phones are found laying courtside they will be collected until the end of training.

Team Managers

We are now looking for Managers for each team. If you are interested or would like more information please contact Sonja or Sally. Please include your players full name, year group and team name.

Game dates

Games will begin on Saturday 30 April 2023.

Please let your coach know urgently if you are going to miss a game for any reason.

If you know in advance that a player will be absent for a College event such as Magis events, Music camp, Rowing etc, for planning purposes, please let us know as soon as possible.

Umpires

There will be a meeting for all John XXIII College umpires on Thursday 28 April from 5pm – 6pm at the College courts.

PNA has a range of umpire courses and clinics over the next few weeks for both new and current umpires.
