Reading Eggs

ABC Reading eggs is an online resource to support children to read. It has been designed to include reading games and activities that are easy to follow, self-paced and highly engaging. Students complete animated online lessons focusing on reading and phonics skills including reading books, completing quizzes and earning rewards. 

In the Foundation classrooms, Reading Eggs is incorporated into our ‘Reading Workshops’. Students log themselves into the app using the QR code and then spend time completing reading and phonics lessons. 

Students have a QR login in the front of their home reader diary if they wish to access Reading Eggs at home. 

Show and Tell

Last week we begun ‘Show and Tell’. Each Foundation class will be creating their own “All about Room __” book. When your child receives the show and tell book, can they please decorate a double page with pictures, photos, drawings or stickers and write all about themselves and what they like to do.

Please only keep the book for 3 nights to make sure we can get through every child in a reasonable time
