ANZAC Day Commemoration Assembly
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
At 10:30am, on Tuesday 4 April, students and community members gathered beneath the flagpole for our ANZAC Day Commemoration Assembly. Students across the school listened and learned as our school leaders spoke about why we commemorate ANZAC Day and shared stories of the battlefield in the forms of poems.
As students placed the wreath and flowers beneath the flagpole students reflected on the sacrifices made by Ex-Service and Current Serving Defence Force Men and Women. We thank you for your service.
Each class has created an artwork in recognition of ANZAC Day that will be displayed at Club Windang for their ANZAC Day service.
