Home Learning
Home learning plays a key role in helping young people reach their potential and prepares them for the demands of life-long learning. Home learning has a positive effect on learning and is an important part of reinforcing the concepts introduced in class. It also plays a significant role in building work habits, self-regulation and responsibility.
Organisation
It is important that students are documenting Home Learning in one of the following ways:
- Teams
- Outlook
- Personal hard copy diary
Students can access ‘How to Guides’, using the QR codes below, to document home learning tasks.
How can parents support students with organizing their home learning?
- Ask your child which platform they are using to document their learning.
- Direct them to the poster above to download the ‘How to Guides’ if they are not using one of Teams, Outlook or a hard copy diary.
- Ask students to show you what learning tasks they have documented.
