Physics Specialism F1 Excursion

Students from the BEST specialism 'The Big Bang and Driving the Future' took the opportunity to attend the F1 event at Melbourne Park thanks to Quantum Victoria. In a choose your own adventure students captured video of racing cars to analyse back at school, recorded how loud those V8s can actually sound, investigated how Formula 1 are making efforts to be carbon neutral and how to make an event as sustainable as possible. There were a host of other high and low tech opportunities to engage the mind and senses.
