Portsea Excursion

The Year 9 & 10 Marine Sanctuary class visited Portsea for the highlight of their Term 1 snorkelling excursions. Students participated in a boat dive at Portsea where we visited an offshore reef at Popes Eye. This artificial reef allowed us to spot a wide variety fish species and was a great comparison to our snorkelling sessions at Ricketts Point.  On the return trip we had the chance to park the boat to snorkel with the playful seals and smooth rays.
