Crows Cup

On Friday 31st March, 19 Year 6 girls went to West Beach playing fields to compete in the 2023 Crows Cup girl's footy competition. We entered two teams, Lockleys North A and Lockleys North B. The competition was a round-robin tournament followed by a single finals playoff. 

The girls played hard and with a good competitive and sportsperson like spirit. Both teams were placed evenly with about equal wins and losses. Lockleys North A finished 9th out of 17 teams, while Lockleys North B finished 11th.

It was a great day with a good vibe, good music and appearances by several WAFL Crows players. The team would like to thank Chad Robertson and former student Layla Robertson for their efforts in coaching the teams, both on the day and during practices.
