Mini Vinnie's

Our Mini Vinnie's chapter is starting again this week. This term the Mini Vinnies are fund raising with a "Guess how many Easter eggs are in the Jar' competition. Keep an eye out for more details.

Our Mini Vinnies are a very successful group and were featured in this month's St Vincent De Paul newsletter. Congratulations for all your hard work.

Lost Property

Lost Property at St Bede's is located in the hallway behind the office. Currently it is overflowing. If you have any missing uniform items please come and check through the drawers. There are also two pairs of children's reading glasses in lost property.

At the end of term any remaining unnamed items will be sent to the second hand uniform shop.

Footy Day

Mr Price has organised an extra curriculum activity day next Wednesday 8 March. To celebrate the start of the footy season and upskill our footy skills, we have people from football Victoria coming out to run clinics for each grade and then we will have some footballers from the Richmond Football Club here in the afternoon for a Question and Answer session with the older students.

All students are to wear their sports uniform next Wednesday.

Go North Melbourne. I'm sure it is finally our year !!!

School Closure Day Friday 10 March

Just a reminder next Friday 10 March is a school closure day. The staff will be working with our educational consultant Shaz Bailey on Personal Inquiry learning.

Kew High School International Women's Day Breakfast

Kew High School International Women’s Day Breakfast is to be held on Wednesday 8 March between 7:30am – 8:30am in our new STEM Centre.

We have a diverse and dynamic group of KHS alumnae speakers lined up for the panel discussion (see attachment), and excitingly, we have Jess Wilson MP for Kew involved in the event too.

Kew High School Principal Josie Millard is running a school tour immediately after the Breakfast (starting at 9am) so prospective parents could see more of the School. Here is the link for parents to book in for the tour: https://www.kew.vic.edu.au/enrol/tours/ and if you would like to attend the Breakfast you can RSVP  by Friday 3 March at Elise.DUNSTAN@kew.vic.edu.au. Kew High are catering for this event and hence need to know final numbers by Friday 3 March.
