Secondary Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday, we headed to the Domain Athletics Centre for the Years 7–10 Athletics Carnival. The wind howled and caused a bit of disruption throughout the day, but the rain held off and thankfully we were able to complete the full program of events. The participation by students was amazing. House spirit was alive and well, and students had a wonderful day, competing, cheering and socialising. In amongst the fun, there were some outstanding athletic performances, with an amazing nine records broken, in very tough conditions. In the end, Carmel were successful with a total of 1014 points, followed by Lourdes with 985 points and Loreto with 846 points.
