Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
Please be careful to select Mount Pleasant Road, Vic and not Mount Pleasant, WA. CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy.
Once your enrolment is complete it will be forwarded to the service for review. Once imported, you will be sent a confirmation email. Any questions, please feel free to contact us on the Mount Pleasant OSHClub program phone - 0427 144 945.
Sun Smart Policy
Please make sure your child has a spare sunhat with them when attending OSHClub. This does not need to be a school hat. They are welcome to keep their hat in our OSHClub hat tub or in their bag. Hats are to be work for outdoor play when the UV rating is at 3 or above.
We have Coles brand sunscreen on hand, however, children are welcome to bring their own if preferred.
Making and Doing at OSHClub
Our Junior Bakers, along with the help of some of the senior students, made apple and cinnamon muffins this week. They used their great listening and communication skills, along with patience and persistence, as they took turns to carefully measure, mix and pour ingredients. The result were delicious and well worth sharing!
This week some of the children decided to make Bliss Balls using rolled oats, dates, cocoa powder and coconut. This was a simple, no-cook recipe that involved learning some new skills in the kitchen.
The excitement surrounding slime making never really ends! Children were challenged to use up the small amount of glue we had left and to divide this evenly amongst themselves. Shaving cream was used to expand the slime and, amazingly, they all ended up with plenty of slime to play with. "I love making slime because it is good and messy!" - Lucky.
Drop off/Pick up
Parents/ guardians are required to sign children in for Rise and Shine sessions and sign children out of Stay and Play sessions using the service iPad. Please ensure you are coming to the room when dropping your children to Rise then Shine or holiday program. Please do not let them walk by themselves.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive to after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
