Education USA Public Information Session

Education USA Australia is thrilled to welcome NYU Admissions Counsellors travelling from New York and Abu Dhabi to Melbourne.  

Year 9 – 12 students interested in finding out more about NYU, the U.S. Higher Education application process, as well how to receive help in preparing an application, are encouraged to attend. The session will include the following:

• Introduction to NYU’s three-degree granting campuses: New York, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai
• The value of researching university options
• The application process
• Application and financial aid deadlines 
• Discussion around what a selective institution is and what applicants should consider when applying to U.S. colleges 
• How COVID-19 has impacted the application process and college landscape 
• The importance of academic rigor 
• Explanation regarding what extracurricular activities mean to admissions officers 
• Q & A

Students can attend this session in-person or virtually and registration is required for all attendees.
