Fete

We've made it, well almost, to Fete day. What will we talk about next week?
Here's the last update:
Rides, Games, Wristbands.
- Wristbands will be given out on Friday after assembly. These cover all the carnival rides- slide, wild chairs, dodgem cars, tea cups. If you buy The Big Fun ticket, it also includes Daryl's farmyard experience and lunch*. Please note the cut off online is 3pm on Friday. We will also be selling them at the office Friday afternoon. Book now https://www.trybooking.com/CGUYQ
- Clare Burrows is running a very fun Kids Zone full of games and activities. Most of these are $2 a go, you can purchase a pack of tickets from the ticketbooth on the day or play with a $2 coin.
Some activities that require more tickets are hair styling, boxmaze, pony grooming, face painting and the dunk tank. It's not too late to get the kids earning some pocket money - Reminder that if all this fun gets too much, we have a lovely chill out zone, "The paddock" over on the Lee street side.
* Lunch in the Big Fun wristband includes
Sausage: Beef GF Halal sausage or Vegan Larder Fresh snag in bread. White, Wholemeal or GF available.
Drink: Juice box or water or sugar free can or soft drink
Choose 2 snacks from: Popcorn, Fairy Floss, Snow Cone, Icy Pole (normal or sugar free available)
Sustainability
Kate Silvagni and the team have worked so hard to ensure our Fete is as waste free as possible. You might notice a different looking bowl or mug, this is all part of our no disposable waste campaign. Once you've enjoyed your coffee, wine, curry, snag or roll please return your plate, bowl or glass to the wash station.
BBQ
We need some more people sizzling. Who can do a shift on the BBQ? Even an hour. What's a fete without a cranking bbq? The BBQ really needs some more hands, it could be taking money or prep too.
