Our public libraries support literacy and education and contain a wide range of useful resources for students.  The State Library of Victoria is worth jo.  Membership is free and you can access thousands of e-resources including journals and newspapers, plus if you visit this beautiful library (the oldest in Australia), you can access books, photos, artwork, manuscripts, comics, and more.

In Create Quarter, there is space to study collaboratively or independently.  Creative technology studios are available for video editing, sound recording and mixing.

 

There's also a cafe.  Plus, situated in the CBD, there are plenty of food options and interesting places to visit.

 

Free History of the Library tours are available daily.

 

The library is open from 10am to 6pm seven days a week.
