Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

Our Open Morning for prospective 2024 Foundation enrolments was held on Monday. We had a further 9 new families tour our facilities and I again received many comments around our facilities, classes and politeness of our students. They are a credit to their families and the school.

Congratulations to our Cross Country runners who participated in the Division Cross Country on Wednesday. They really did not have the best of conditions with some intermittemnt and at times heavy rainfall. However the staff involved let me know that our students were very positive. Some great results were achieved, inluding some 'podium' finishes and the good news is many of our students will now proceed through to the Zone Athletics. Thank you families who were able to attend and support your children and our students and we wish them all the best.

Our own House Sports will be held tomorrow. We will begin the day with an end of term whole school Mass due to next Friday being Good Friday. House Sports will commence at 11.30 and conclude around 1.30pm.  As always, families are invited to join us. which will involve all of our students. Thank you Mrs Winduss for your organisation of Mass and Mrs Ary for your organisation of the House Sports.

The PNF Disco is on tomorrow night and I thank the PNF for organising such a great event for our students and community to get together outside of the normal school day. I thank Mrs Winduss for liaising with the PNF and attending on behalf of our staff.

Our Lenten period is coming to a close with this Sunday being Palm Sunday in our Liturgical Calendar. A great day when we remember Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem. Next Thursday 6th April at 9.15am in the Church we share the journey of the Stations of the Cross. Families are welcome to join us as we travel this in remembrance together.

May peace be with you,

Rod Shaw

Principal
