CHPS Asylum Seeker Food Drive

Hi everyone - it’s so good to be able to see each other in person again!

Now we’re back I’d like to remind you about our CHPS Food Drive.

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre needs our donations more than ever for so many families who don’t have enough food.

Here are the most-needed items:

  • Tuna in oil
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Tinned vegetable peas, corn, carrots
  • Tinned legumes chickpeas, lentils, red, black & white beans
  • Coconut cream
  • Sweet or savoury biscuits
  • Black tea bags
  • Instant coffee
  • Pasta 500g packs penne, spirals, shells
  • Full cream UHT milk 1 litre
  • Laundry powder
  • Dishwashing detergent
  • Soap bars
  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo & conditioner
  • Buy sanitary pads through www.tsuno.com.au

Remember – even one can or a packet of pasta is a huge help!

You can also donate online through Coles:

  2. Select ‘Choose a collection time’ on the right-hand side of screen

  5. Click on the ‘Coles Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Donation’ tab
  6. Click on ‘Choose a collection time’
  7. Select either  Tuesday or Thursday  9am–11am timeslot

At school the collection tubs are still in the MPR foyer.

Thank you so much for supporting our Food Drive!
