On Wednesday 28th October,  students in Year 8 participated in the Armidale Diocesan Debating Competition against  McCarthy Catholic College, Tamworth. This was their first debating experience. The three speakers were Harmony Phillips, Matilda Hayes, and Megan Cory. Assisting throughout the debate were Grace Grantham, Arabella Drogumuller, Tabitha Cobb, and Selena McGrady. These 7 students won their debate - congratulations ladies.  We congratulate McCarthy on doing an excellent job as well!

What a robust round of debating our Stage 5 students participated in on Thursday 29 October, representing the school gallantly. Although we did not grasp the win, our ladies represented the school with pride. Congratulations McCarthy Catholic College on your success - we cannot wait for our next round!
