SENIOR SCHOOL

Firstly a BIG THANKYOU & WELL DONE to the Unit 3&4 VCE students who  attended the GAT last Wednesday 7th October and then continued their week with back to back practice exams until late on Friday afternoon! A mammoth effort with (hopefully) very worthwhile rewards in December.

As we get back into our VCE classes for the next three weeks solid, I am so pleased that it has transpired that students get to spend some quality teaching and learning time with their subject teachers, right up until our exams begin on Tuesday 10th November. 

And a SPECIAL MENTION: to our Music and Language students who begin their exams earlier for performance and orals, from the 19th October. がんばってください：）

Some more ‘big moments’ in the Senior School in the coming weeks include:

• Year 11 & 12 2021 – subject finalisation in ACE – Week 3
• 2021 School Captain interviews – Week 3
• 2021 School Captain speeches at assembly – Week 4
• VCAL HOSPITALITY BAKE SALE!! Monday 26th October at lunchtime 
• Last day of Year 12 (Unit 4) classes Thursday 29th October
• ‘Celebration morning’ for Year 12s 2020 from 10am – Friday 30th October

It won’t be long now and we will move into our ‘Headstart’ program for the Senior School in 2021, so I urge all students to stay focused and aim high to finish all 2020 outcomes, CATs, SACs & SATs to the very best of your ability. Seek help from your mentors and teachers, reach out to friends, communicate, stay connected and above all – be wonderfully you!
