Camps, Sports & Excursion Fund (CSEF)

CSEF Application Closing Date Extended to 27 November

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) ensures eligible students do not miss out on important extra-curricular activities that increase their overall engagement and participation in school and the community. In acknowledgement of the significant and ongoing challenges facing our parent community due to COVID-19, the Minister for Education has approved that the eligibility to qualify for CSEF be extended to 5 October 2020, with applications due by 27 November 2020. Families who have experienced changed financial circumstances and now hold a means tested concession card are encouraged to submit an application.

For further information please: visit:https://www.education.vic.gov.au/Documents/about/programs/health/csefflyer.pdf.During the application extension period, CSEF payments for secondary students will be made at 50 per cent of the standard rate of $225 per student, recognising that opportunities for camps, sports and excursions have been limited in 2020. CSEF payments are made directly to the school to be allocated to eligible expenses.
