Riley has put so much effort into handwriting. He is learning to use the dotted, thirds paper, and he is very careful to form his letters correctly. Keep up the great work Riley!

Congratulations Bruce. You have shown determination and so much effort in tackling learning tasks. You have made huge progress in your writing and can incorporate a strong author's voice in his writing.

Muqian has shown so much confidence and courage now that we're back in the classroom. He is making huge progress in his reading and can share lots of ideas about what he reads. Keep it up Muqian!

Congratulations Hayden. You always try your best in all your learning tasks and approach every activity with a positive attitude. This week you displayed great inference skills during reading using the clue in the pictures to help you. Well done Hayden!

Congratulations super star. You should be so proud of yourself with how much effort and determination you always put into your work every single day. Kathryn, your story called "I went dancing" was so funny and interesting. Well done on using your imagination and creating an amazing story for 1P to read.

Maria you put in so much effort and determination into every piece of work you complete. Your recount writing was fantastic! It included time connectives, excellent vocabulary and plenty of detail. Keep up the great work!

Melissa has been doing an outstanding job while writing her information report. She has done a fantastic job including rich description and varying her sentence structure by using connectives and sentence openers.

Congratulations Isabelle you are an amazing learner always trying to improve. You should be very proud of yourself for making sure you listen and want to learn. It was pleasing to see the impressive improvement in your recent fraction assessment. You are a Super Star.

Timmy has been working hard on improving his maths skills and is getting better at challenging himself with more difficult tasks. During the week he was one of the first students to solve a tricky maths problem. Well done Timmy, great job! Keep up your fantastic work!
