It has been wonderful to have you back in the classroom Sophie! Your enthusiasm to learning and effort you put into each task has been extraordinary. When we were learning about time you were so persistent to understand how the hands on the clock work and you never gave up!

Well done Rachel on returning to school exuding confidence, independence and care. Not only have you been approaching each learning task with determination, you also have put in so much effort into making our new student welcome and making sure your peers have a positive time at school. Fantastic effort Rachel!

Celine has put so much effort into handwriting. She is learning to use the special dotted, thirds paper, and she is very careful to form her letters correctly. Wonderful work Celine!

Noah has done a great job at settling back into the classroom. He has tried his best on all the learning tasks and been a superstar at reading his phonics sounds as well as stories. Great job Noah. Keep it up!

Congratulations Bella! It is so fantastic to have you back in the classroom. You put in so much effort and determination into every piece of work you complete. Your writing piece that compares and contrasts home learning to remote learning was excellently written. You used great comparing words and your handwriting was beautiful.

Well done Aidan on settling back into the classroom environment so well and showing me how independent you've become! It's fantastic to see you put so much effort into every piece of work. I have enjoyed seeing you find the Phase 5 sounds in phonics and using sound dots to show your understanding. Keep up the great work!

Well done Rebecca on your wonderful work in writing. You shared your ideas about the similarities and differences between remote learning and learning at school, then you effectively used the ideas from the venn diagram to write a comparing and contrasting passage. Excellent work, Rebecca!

Congratulations Aditi for settling back into the classroom so effortlessly. You are kind and thoughtful towards others and you were a magnificent friend to a new student, showing them around and playing with them to make them feel welcome. Thank you so much and keep up your positive outlook!

Well done for settling into the classroom with such ease. You have been so focused in your work and have shown great understanding in the topic areas covered in class. Congratulations Audrey on the standard of your work this week. Your story map of the book Searching for Cicadas showed a great understanding and a deeper knowledge of cicadas. Keep up the great work of writing in cursive writing - you Super Star ⭐️

For being responsive to teacher feedback during literature circle discussions. In her role as Discussion Director Deanna posed good questions about the book ‘Stormbreaker’. She also encouraged everyone in her group to share their ideas. Great work Deanna!

Congratulations Shayla on your wonderful transition back into the classroom! Your hard work is admirable and I am so proud of the effort you have been putting into everything you do especially your literacy work. Keep it up super star!

For his excellent responses during reading. Tyler was able to make detailed connections with the text based on his prior knowledge and experiences. He has also been able to complete all tasks to a high standard and make good use of class time. Keep it up!

Congratulations Summer on being eager to have a go at all maths tasks. I love how you will experiment with numbers and take risks at achieving success. You should be very proud of your willingness to learn new things. You are a Super Star.

Omar has been working very hard to improve his skills in maths. All of his hard work paid off this week when he received 100% in his maths test. Congratulations Omar, I'm very proud of your efforts! Keep up the great work!

Selena should be commended for her positive attitude and her willingness to 'have a go' at all types of activities. Even though Selena is not yet as familiar with the Japanese language as her peers are, she still gives her best effort in all activities in Japanese class which is so great to see. Keep up the wonderful work, Selena-san!

Sailochan [Sai] is a student who will make sure to give his best effort and complete all activities in Japanese. I have noticed on several occasions, how responsible and committed he is to learning Japanese. This shows that he takes his LOTE-learning seriously and it is great to see a student who will not merely give half-hearted attempts in Japanese class. Kudos to Sai-kun!
