Summer Season Structures

The Summer Season is currently scheduled to commence a full round of fixtures this coming Saturday 24 October.

The ISA Basketball season is split into two parts. During Term 4 there is no official competition nor Premierships to be won. All teams will play 5 rounds of fixtures within their division, with an additional fixture on Saturday 28 November determined by the team’s position on the ladder (i.e. 1st v 2nd, 3rd v 4th or 5th v 6th). For Term 1 2021, the ISA will welcome back those regional schools into the draws and place teams in their correct divisions. The competition structure will be 5 rounds of fixtures with those teams who placed 1st or 2nd on the ladder going through to contest for ISA Premierships on Saturday 13 March 2021.

COVID-19 and Spectators at Sport

It is necessary for everyone to understand the clear expectations the College requires from all participants and supporters. At this point in time, I wish to emphasise that at Senior School sport, only one parent/carer per player may attend a Senior School Basketball fixture or Swimming Carnival.

Two parents/carers, player siblings and students of St Patrick’s College and the opposing school are able to attend Cricket and Baseball fixtures on the understanding that they maintain social distancing, adhere to protocols and crowds do not exceed the 500 person per field limit.

It is important to note that each school will have their own set of protocols and procedures that will be communicated to both their own community and that of visiting schools on a weekly basis. Parents/carers and boys are asked to check Team App on a regular basis for this information.
