Use your Gifts

This year has really tested our patience. The lack of vision out of a pandemic while being bombarded with at a time of media saturation is frustrating at times. All our plans where placed on hold not knowing when we would return to a normality. Yet throughout all this spare time what did we learn? How did we use our time?
This Weeks Gospel is about not wasting the talents we have been given. We have all been entrusted with talents that really belong to God, and we must use these talents to the best of our ability in the interim between the Lord’s departure and his final return. I wonder what talents you discovered about your family during 2020? I wonder how these were nurtured? Most importantly I wonder how you will allow these talents to be nurtured as we continue to revert to a covid normal.
Vinnies Drive
We would love to say a massive thank you to the school community for all of their support during our food drive. Your donations have been very generous and we know they will help people in our community to have a brighter Christmas season this year.
With one week to go- don’t forget to dust off your Christmas spirit and donate something festive to help build the Christmas season for those in need.
Value of the week
This week’s value of the week is Charity. It would be incredible to talk to your children about what this word means at home. How can they help others in different ways not just through money to support those in need.
