CAPA

This term students have been working on their Visual Arts skills for CAPA with Mrs Govers.

Kindergarten have been making farm inspired artworks. Students painted their own unique cows and constructed and painted their own paper plate pigs.

Year 1 have been creating a variety of dinosaur artworks for their upcoming Dinosaur Museum.

Year 2 have been creating insect artworks for their Insect Gallery whilst exploring symmetry in art. We especially enjoyed creating a 3D butterfly garden using oil pastels and water colour paints.

Stage 2 have been learning about Indigenous Art and have been working on their own artworks inspired by Australian artist and author Bronwyn Bancroft.

Stage 3 have been learning about the Pop Art style, investigating the creations of artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Students are creating their own replication pop art inspired by Andy Warhol's famous Campbell's Soup artwork based on modern day mass consumerism and advertising.
