Years 2/4

Year 2/4 have been working hard this week and in preparation for the June reports we have been busy completing a range of tests to show our learning for Semester One. Everyone has tried their best and not complained (too much!)  

The whole school enjoyed the Simultaneous Story Time reading of 'The Speedy Sloth' on Wednesday and Year 2 and 4 students wrote terrific sloth cinquain poems accompanied by some beautiful drawings. 

Maths classes have been hands on working on the topic of Volume. Students built 3D models using 1cm cubes and then had to look hard to determine the exact volume of each model. 

It has also been lovely to hear some of the children humming and randomly breaking into the songs they are presenting at the upcoming Eisteddfod. We must have the happiest class around!
