Quicksmart Literacy

Our students have had a fabulous start to the Quicksmart Literacy program, and it is wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning!

As we work through a variety of text types, students read aloud, discover new word meanings, and develop comprehension strategies. Saying as many flashcard words as possible in one minute always leads to a few laughs, especially with tongue-twisters like representative, impatience and synonymous! 

Our lessons build confidence across all subject areas by consolidating writing skills, starting with a brainstorm, revising punctuation rules, and developing meaningful sentences.

We commend our students for their commitment and effort!
