Child Care-Bush Tucker experience with Aunty Daphne

Thank you so much to Aunty Daphne for sharing her knowledge and wisdom with the child care children, staff and educators and spending time in the child care making some delicious biscuits and muffins using bush tucker ingredients.

The child care children explored the flavours, uses and  how the bush foods could be used in different foods.

We will be working on including these healthy bush tucker ingredients in our new menu. We look forward to sharing a tasting sample with our families in the future.

ACCC inquiry into early childhood education and care parent and guardian survey

In October 2022 the Commonwealth Government directed the ACCC to conduct an inquiry into the market for the supply of early childhood education and care services. The inquiry started in January 2023 and consultation continues throughout this year.

As part of this inquiry the ACCC developed a survey for parents and guardians' views on centre-based care, outside of school hours care and family day care.

South Australian early childhood services are encouraged to share this information and online survey link with families and guardians in their community. Only one parent or guardian per family should complete the survey.

A Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) is available on 131450 if families need help completing the survey.
