Sports Update

On Wednesday 17th May our EVPS Cross Country Team competed in the Bridge Inn South District event held at Bundoora Park. The under 10s ran in the 2km race while our under 11s, 12s and 13s ran in the 3km race.

As a result of our try-outs in Term 1, we were able to take a team of 54 students giving plenty of students an opportunity to participate and to represent the school. 

We were fortunate to have lovely weather throughout the day which made it enjoyable for all.

Overall we competed extremely well and finished 3rd in our District. Congratulations to the 8 students who finished in the top 10 of their race and have qualified to the next round.

This event will be held in two weeks time so we wish them the best of luck!
