Canteen Information

KingWill is the business of two local school mums, Jo Williams and Nicole Kingston, who both have a passion for healthy and homemade food options for school children.  We have been in business since 2017, and we are a winner of the Hobson's Bay Food safety Awards.  We offer a large range of food options, mostly all homemade onsite, including hot food such as fried rice, pasta, hot subs along with freshly made sandwiches, salads, snacks, fruit, veggie sticks and fruit ice creams.  

ORDERING

Ordering is simple and is via the QKR app and with credit card payment.  Please see attached information on how to use QKR to order lunches.  We are a council registered, and nut free kitchen.  If your child has any specific dietary requirements, please feel free to contact us to discuss suitable menu options for them.  You are able to order up to 2 weeks in advance and orders close at 8.00 am the morning of service.

We are also happy to walk you through any problems or questions you may have about the QKR ordering system. Please contact us on the below numbers. We are available weekdays, except for Tuesdays, from 8.30-3pm. 

SUSTAINABLE LUNCHES

Due to changing legislation we can no longer provide plastic cutlery. Families will have the option of either their children bringing their own cutlery from home or purchasing bamboo cutlery at an additional cost. The teachers  won’t be offering children cutlery so it is important that parents choose to purchase sustainable bamboo cutlery or place a fork/spoon in their child’s bag on lunch days. PRICE INCREASES & STOCK SHORTAGES

As with other businesses in this current uncertain covid climate, we are taking all necessary requirements to keep our work environment safe for all customers and our staff.  We too have been impacted by stock shortages and difficulties obtaining stock, and currently we are having problems obtaining some of our packaging, products and ingredients, so please be aware at times there may be some menu items not available, or small price increases that may have to reflect these challenging times/price increases from suppliers.  We hope this won't impact us too much, or for too long.  We are hoping, as we all do, that things start to settle down soon and that we can all get back to some normality.
