Flinders Centre for Remote Health Building (5 Skinner St, The Gap, Alice Springs)
Flinders University would like to invite Senior School students, parents and community members interested in starting or continuing study, to an Open event at their Alice Springs campus.
The event is to showcase the courses that Flinders University has to offer in the Northern Territory, including Darwin and Alice Springs but also study options in Adelaide. You will have the opportunity to:
- Speak with College staff about the different courses on offer
- Seek advice from specialists about applying to study in 2024, ask questions about university and what to expect
- Find out about Flinders Living accommodation at Bedford Park campus
- Talk to staff from Yungkurrinthi Student Engagement Centre about the support available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
- Explore local campus facilities, learn out about local education activities and support for health students to undertake their work-integrated learning placements in the NT
- Participate in interactive activities
School attendance 9am - 2pm
(Each school to nominate the more appropriate time)
Parents and community members – 4:30pm – 6:30pm (light refreshments provided)
Parents can play a big part with the support and guidance around the transition from high school to university. This will be a good chance to talk to Flinders staff about university life, degree options and the support available for students. Information is also available for adults interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study options.
