Year 3 Think Again

As part of their Term 1 Inquiry topic Bounce Back, the Year 3 students looked at ways that they could reframe their unhelpful thinking into positive thoughts. In Digi Tech, they helped one another to photograph each other, upload the photo and then insert it into a Publisher document where they used speech bubbles and different formatting techniques to highlight the different types of thinking. Below are just a few examples of their work. If you would like to see your child's work, please ask them to log in to Office from our Go VPS page and they can show you their work in the Class Notebook. If you have difficulties getting logged in please email me: julie.hall2@education.vic.gov.au

Indonesian Yr6 Oral Assessment

The students in Year 6 will be working on their Indonesian Paired Oral Assessments in Indonesian class this term in Weeks 6,7,8 and 9. Student assessments will be differentiated according to ability and according to the length of time the students have been studying Indonesian. The Oral is based around the topic of clothing/ Pakaian which was the topic covered in Term One this year. Assessments will be conducted in Weeks 9, Term Two and Weeks 1,2 and 3 in Term 3. I have made a recording of the Oral and uploaded it onto the Class Notebook. Students will be able to listen to the Oral on their class notebook to assist them with their pronunciation and fluency. If you are unsure how to find it, here are some instructions. Log into office, go to class notebook, click on content library then click on Indonesian Paired Oral Assessment. If any student has difficulty checking in please contact Bu Smith or Mrs. Hall for assistance.

Thank you,

Bu Smith.

NEVR CONCERT

On Monday 29th of May some of our students performed as part of the North Eastern Victorian Region (NEVR) Concert. The concert was held at Hamer Hall in the city and involved students from Primary and Secondary Schools across the eastern region of Victoria. We had 18 students perform as part of the Primary Choir and one student play in the String Orchestra. It was a great experience for the students to perform at a world class venue like Hamer Hall. They all performed very well.
