Canteen reopening

On Friday 2nd June 2023, we will be having a 'soft' re-opening of the canteen named 'Hot Diggity Dog Day'. On this day we will offer Hot Dogs, Hot Cheese Rolls, Popcorn, and Drinks. These will all be available to purchase through QKR 

Jess Crea - Interim Canteen Manager

Hello everyone, I am Jess, and I am delighted to be helping out in the canteen until Justine’s return to Kalinda. In the meantime, we will have ‘Jess’ Jolly Kitchen’.  The kitchen will be open for orders Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays come Term 2. For the remainder of Term 2, you can order food on a Friday only with a limited menu (unless notified of extra days).  Moving forward into Term 3 I will be offering a healthy menu on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Friday being the ‘treat’ day for the students! 

Please feel free to come and say hello or even lend a hand in the kitchen for our students.

Helping 

Volunteering has recently changed. You are now required to have a food handler's certificate. The link to apply is here https://dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/index.php/en/

This is a great certificate to have, and covers the basics for anyone interested.

QKR

Just a reminder that we use QKR here at Kalinda for all Canteen Purchases.

Please give yourself enough time to purchase items before the cut-off time.

We will enforce a cut-off time to allow for orders and deliveries. 

We ask that parents ensure details are correct so students receive their orders.
