Book Fair - THANK YOU!

An enormous thank you to every family who came and browsed, paged, and purchased a book from the Book Fair. Thanks to your support, Kalinda has earned a whopping commission which we can spend on more amazing books and resources that our students (and staff) can enjoy, learn from, and lose themselves in. We couldn't have done it without you!

“Name the Grade 5/6 corner” competition

The entries are in! We have a shortlist of 6 fabulous entries to name the 'Grade 5/6 corner' in the library.

Grade 5s and 6s will be voting for the winner. Keep an eye out for the winning name in the next newsletter!

Kalinda Winter Reads - June July

Hygge (noun): a Danish word for the feeling of cosiness in winter that comes from doing simple things such as lighting candlesbakingspending time at home with your family

…or curling up in a cosy armchair with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book!

This winter, we’ll be asking YOU to recommend to your classmates and schoolmates your favourite comfort reads. From beautiful picture stories to fascinating non-fiction books to chapter books that take you to another world, we want to know which books give you a feeling of ‘Hygge.’

More information to come.
