We are learning to compare the properties of different 3D shapes.

VOCABULARY

3D Shape: A shape that is not flat and measured by length, width and depth.

Properties: Features about a shape. E.g. Faces, corners (vertices) and edges. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Try to find different shapes at home. Find an object and write down what 3D shape it is. Include what properties this shape has. How many corners, faces and edges does this shape have? 

Practise drawing different 3D shapes as well!
