Saturday Sport - COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures

It is with a great deal of excitement we welcome back weekend sport this Saturday 20 November. Given that, it is necessary for everyone to understand the clear expectations the College requires from all participants and supporters.

This Saturday, the U13, U14 any U17 Basketball Trials will take place at Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park. The First V Basketball, along with the First XI and Second XI Cricket sides, will play trial fixtures against Trinity Grammar. (Times for all trials and fixtures can be viewed by clicking the link below, College website or Team App).

A full copy of the sporting protocols and procedures for Saturday 20 November 2021 can be viewed on Team App under the News tab. For this Saturday, it is important to note for the following:

Unvaccinated students 15 years and under may attend and participate.
  • Players, coaches, and managers who are 16 years and over will be required to register their attendance by scanning a QR Code and provide proof of vaccination or medical exemption upon arrival.
  • Toilet facilities will be available. Changerooms may only be available to the First V Basketball and Open Cricket teams. As such, players are to arrive dressed in their playing attire.

  • Sharing/exchanging of personal equipment, clothing, or drink bottles is not permitted.
  • Players and coaches are asked to leave as soon as possible at the conclusion of one’s fixture/trial.
  • There will be no post-match functions for First V Basketball teams. There will be no catering for Cricket lunches or afternoon teas. All Open Cricket teams are asked to bring their own food/drinks for the duration of the day.

It is important to note that each school will have their own set of protocols and procedures that will be communicated to both their own community and that of visiting schools on a weekly basis. Parents/carers and boys are asked to check Team App on a regular basis for this information.
